Fun while exploring the museum
These games are led by the teacher. Before planning to use them with a class of students, it is essential that the teacher visit the museum to reconnoitre the layout of the exhibition space and become familiar with the content of the games (by means of the workshops organised by the museum’s Educational Resources staff or by reserving the game well before the intended visit with the class). Teachers should check with the museum for updated information on gallery closings.
Games and their instructions are available in French only.
Procedure:
1. The board games are picked up at the check room (except for the memory game
which is available at the admissions desk).
2. The board games are to be played in the cloister, using the trestles and
plank as shown on the museum floor plan. The trestles and the plank serving as
the tabletop are stored behind the stone baptistery. Be sure to put everything
back in its place once you are finished with the games.
Download a floor plan showing the position of the trestles and the
plank when in use in the cloister (.pdf file).
